Rosemount secured their third Eamon ‘Bronco’ Bradley in a row, following an extra-time win over Carrowreagh Celtic, at Leafair, on Friday night.
The entertaining encounter saw Rosemount lead on four separate occasions and boss Paul Simon Tracey was thrilled by the cup success.

“We went into the final aiming to make it three wins on the bounce, so we’re delighted we managed to achieve that,” stated Tracey.
“Carrowreagh are a very good side and they’ve got very good players, but our strength came out at the end of the day.”
Tracey felt his whole squad played their part not just in the final, but throughout the competition.
“You need a big squad, we have that and that’s why Rosemount are champions,” he stated. “Especially on this surface and because it’s a quick turn around in games, you need everyone to be ready to play their part and that’s exactly what we got in every game.”
The player-boss also acknowledged how much the competition means for the area.
“We’ve been in a lot of summer cups already this season,we haven’t really stopped since the Saturday Morning League finished,” he explained. “But look, the ‘Bronco’ Bradley is massive, I’ve played in it since my teenage years and it means a lot to the people around the Galliagh and Shantallow and it’s just great to win it again.”
Rosemount broke the deadlock early on as Darren Crossan fired home from an astute angle, after a quick throw-in by PJ Ward had created the chance.
Celtic levelled things on 12 minutes as Marc Doherty got in at the back post to side foot home, despite Rosemount goalkeeper Lee Wade’s best attempts to try and keep the effort out.
Just before half-time Rosemount regained the lead as Crossan calmly turned home his second after Kevin Deehan had created the chance.
Early after the restart Carrowreagh equalised for a second time on 43 minutes as Jack Malone turned the ball home from close range, after Jamie Dunne’s shot was parried away by Wade.
Two minutes later Rosemount incredibly went in front for a third time as Ryan Cleere made no mistake drilling the ball low into Ray Kelly’s bottom left hand corner.

Amazingly Carrowreagh levelled things for a third time in the closing stages as Dunne’s long throw-in caused problems and Gearoid McDermott turned the ball home from close range.
Rosemount deservedly won it in extra-time, as substitute TJ Begley played a neat pass to striker PJ Ward, who showed good strength to hold off Ryan Morrow inside the box, before blasting past Kelly.
