Pat Hoban was on the mark again as Derry City picked up their first win of pre-season with a dominant win at Glenavon.
The striker, who scored twice at Sligo Rovers at the weekend, gave the Candystripes a first half lead ahead of a glut of goals in the second half.
Daniel Kelly made his first start for the club, while Tadhg Ryan was again in goal as speculation mounts about the future of Brian Maher.
In the second half, and with conditions worsening, City added to Hoban's first half strike, with Paul McMullan, Sean Patton and Tiernan McGinty all scoring.
Derry City are next in action against Finn Harps this Friday evening at the Brandywell. Kick off 7:30pm.
