Derry City are headed to the Faroe Islands

Derry City have been drawn against FC Torshavn from the Faroe Islands in the draw for the UEFA Europa Conference League First Qualifying Round.

Ruaidhri Higgins and his players will meet their opponents over two legs on July 13 and July 20, with City drawn away first, although the club has cautioned that dates and times may yet change.

Torshavn are currently in second place in the Faore Islands Premier League having won 11 from 14 games so far.

City avoided a draw with Belfast side Crusaders, a trip to North Macedonia to face KF Shkendija, Estonian side Levadia Tallinn and a return to Lativa to play FC Riga.

Supporters are reminded not to book any travel until the dates and times of fixtures are confirmed. Ticketing details for the game will be released in the coming days.
