The Thomas Burke Perpetual Cup final (Burkey Cup), with £2,000 prize money sponsored by Impact-NI, complete accident management, will be contested by host club Trojans and Moville Celtic who defeated Creggan Swifts by two goals to nil in the second semi-final.

Moville were always in control against Creggan who looked a little leggy following their recent successes in the Saturday Morning League.

Moville applied the early pressure but it was not until midway through the first half that they broke the deadlock. Bradley Callaghan cut in from the right and fired low and hard across Creggan keeper Darren Smith to find the bottom corner of the net.

Creggan tried to respond but found the Moville defence well marshalled by Paddy McClean, in unforgiving mood as few chances were offered up.

Moville doubled their advantage just before half time when the Creggan defence failed to clear and Jake Morrow blasted home the loose ball.

The second half was pretty much a non event as Moville comfortably defended their two goal lead whilst always looking dangerous on the break. However no further goals were added.

The final on Saturday will ko at 2.00pm at Oakland Park. Admission is free but a voluntary collection will be taken up during the game.
