Supported by The Honourable The Irish Society, the inclusive wellbeing sessions return following summer success.

Following the overwhelming success of its summer session, First Derry Presbyterian Church has announced the return of its popular community Sing-Along event.

Supported by The Honourable The Irish Society, the inclusive, all-ages gathering is designed to promote health, harmony, and community connection.

The upcoming session will be facilitated by Kathleen and Mags from Creative Connections, a local organisation specialising in transformative music and creative arts workshops for health and wellbeing. As qualified music therapists, the duo operates on the core belief that singing is a basic human right and a powerful tool for lifting moods and building confidence.

The hour-long event is entirely inclusive and open to everyone, regardless of their musical background.

There are no auditions, and participants do not need to know how to read sheet music. The previous summer event drew visitors from across the city and beyond, and organisers are looking forward to welcoming back regular singers alongside new faces.

Following the joyful hour of music, the ladies of First Derry Presbyterian Church will provide a social reception featuring tea, coffee, and freshly baked scones for all attendees.
