Sara Lindsay and Clara McDevitt
Two Derry students have received certificates from STEM SMART.
Sara Lindsay and Clara McDevitt from Thornhill College were awarded the certificates from the ‘prestigious programme’ in association with the University of Cambridge and Isaac Physics.
STEM SMART is a free, 17-month programme* to support students in raising their attainment at school and develop their confidence to apply to study physical or biological sciences, engineering or computer science at top universities.
Thornhill College took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to congratulate their students.
They said: “We are incredibly proud of our Year 14 students, Clara and Sara for achieving certificates from STEM SMART - a prestigious programme by the University of Cambridge. Their dedication to studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry is truly inspiring.”
