If you are looking for expert advice and practical training to help you and your four-legged friend understand each other better, then look no further than Dogs Trust Dog School classes in Derry.

Dog School delivers high quality, affordable training classes to dog owners in their local area.

Dog School staff run classes every Saturday in Lincoln Court Community Centre as well as offering tailored 121 sessions.  Each class/121 has two coaches present and comes with additional online support via the Dog School hub.

During the classes, several exercises are worked on including walking nicely on lead, returning when called, not jumping up, settling, leaving on command – all of which are aimed at allowing dogs and their families to live together harmoniously.

Speaking about the classes, Sascha Cox-Tennyson, Dogs Trust Team Leader for Community Education & Engagement said:  "We are excited to meet dog owners from Derry and we hope that our team’s presence in the area can contribute to improving relationships between dogs and their families, as well as supporting owners to achieve their training goals. I would encourage dog owners to get in touch so we can help by directing you to the most appropriate support for you and your dog.”

A recent attendee to Dog School in Northern Ireland said: "The knowledge, support, approachability and warm friendly attitudes of our coaches was superb. We are going to miss the sessions now they are finished. Thank you to all at Dogs Trust.”
