Carmel Cassidy (née Watkins), 15 Grainan Park, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Carmel Cassidy (née Watkins), April 13 2026, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of the late Denis (Ding) Cassidy, loving mother of Paul, Julie, Kieran, Claire, Catherine, Mary and Michael, mother-in-law of Paddy, Gerard, Damien and the late Johno, a much loved grandmother and great-grandmother and dear sister of Rosemary, Barney, Pauline, David, Cathy, James, Veronica and the late Matt. Carmel will be reposing in her home, 15 Grainan Park, from 12noon - 10.00pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Funeral from there on Friday at 11.15am for 12o'clock Requiem Mass in St Columba's Church, Longtower. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Louise Kelly, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on April 14 2026. Late of 17 Pelham Rd, Knightsbridge. May she rest in peace. Beloved daughter of Margaret and Philip. Loving sister of Matthew. A much loved aunt of Mason and precious godmother of Brodie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle and friends. Louise’s remains will be reposing at her late family home, 17 Pelham Rd. Funeral leaving from there on Thursday, April 16 at 12:50pm for 1:30pm Requiem Mass in The Church Of The Immaculate Conception, Trench Rd. Martin Mullan, Freiburg Germany (Formerly of Derry)

The death has taken place of the late John (Joc) O'Connor, April 12 2026, loving father of Caomhan and Erin, beloved son of Philomena and the late Neil, dear brother of Paul, Sinead, Catherine and the late Stephen, brother-in-law of Sean and Colm and dear uncle of Ben, Eva and Cillian. John will be reposing in the family home, 124 Elaghmore Park. Funeral from there on Thursday at 10.30am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Galliagh. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. The death has taken place of Alex (Neighbour) Trainor, April 12 2026, peacefully at his home: 11 Windsor Avenue, Limavady, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Marietta. Loving father of Alexandra, father-in-law of Davey. A much loved grandfather of Hannah (Mark) and great-grandfather of George. Son of the late Alex and Sarah Trainor. The death has taken place of the late Marcus Treneary, April 13 2026, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, after a long illness, (formerly of Orchard Row), beloved son of the late Jack and Sarah, cherished brother of Trevor, Deborah and Corinna, loving uncle of Jennifer, Sarah and Claire and great-uncle of Kate, Conor, Niamh and Daire. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Marcus will be reposing at his home, 80 Drumleck Drive. House private from 10:00pm to 10:00am. Funeral leaving his home on Thursday at 12:30pm to Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, Steelstown for Requiem Mass at 1:00pm.
