Cecil Adams, 96 Castleroe Road, Coleraine

The death has occurred of the late Cecil Adams, April 11 2026, (peacefully) at hospital, 96 Castleroe Road, Coleraine. Dearly beloved husband of the late Hannah, much loved father of Sharon and Jayne, dear father-in-law of Vincent and Robert, devoted grandfather of Victoria, Jonathon and Naomi and cherished great-grandfather of Niamh, Theo and Pierce. Service in his home on Tuesday at 2.00pm followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired for N.I Children’s Hospice or Ward 29 R.V.H (Please make cheques payable to Ivan Murdock and Sons) c/o Ivan Murdock and Sons, 31 Bushmills Road, Coleraine. Deeply regretted and very sadly missed by his loving family, friends and entire family circle.

Joanne Ferry (née McIntyre), 69 Prehen Park, Derry (Formerly of Ballerin)

Funeral arrangements for the late Joanne Ferry (née McIntyre), Derry & formerly Ballerin, died April 13 2026. Everyone welcome to call at the family home, 69 Prehen Park, Derry. BT47 2PB today (Tuesday) from 5.00pm to 10.00pm and Wednesday from 12noon to 10.00pm. Family time after please. Joanne has requested those attending the funeral wear their club or county GAA tops if possible. Peacefully at Foyle Hospice Joanne R.I.P. beloved wife of Adrian and much adored mother of Erin. Beloved daughter of Phyllis and the late Joey and loving sister of Seamus, Gregory, Marisa (Mullan) and Cormac; daughter-n-law of Willie and Eileen Ferry and a cherished, sister-in-law, aunt and friend to many. Funeral from her late residence, 69 Prehen Park, on Thursday at 10:15am for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass in Church Of The Immaculate Conception, 10B Trench Road, Derry, BT47 3UB. The death has taken place of Helen Kilkey, April 12 2026 peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved daughter of the late Lawrence and Brigid, loving sister of Pauline, Claire and the late Mary and Raymond and a much loved sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt. Helen will be reposing in her home, 156 Slaughtmanus Road, BT47 3HA. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 10.30am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Tamnaherin. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of John McCormack, peacefully at home on April 13 2026. Late of 16 Mount Vernon, Culmore. May he rest in peace. Tender beloved husband of Patricia. Devoted father of Vincent (Kate) and Fergal (Sarah). Delighted grandfather of Cillian. Loving brother of the late Marie, Vincent and John L. A dear cousin of Sr. Catherine. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his nieces, nephews, wider family circle and friends. John’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 16 Mount Vernon from 2.00pm this afternoon, (Tuesday, April 14). Beloved wife of Barney. Devoted mother of Martin, Moya and the late Michelle. Dearest mother-in-law of Pamela, Paul and Jonathan. Loving granny of Barry, Kellie, Adele, Blake and Troy. It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Gwendoline Stewart, April 12 2026, peacefully at the home of her daughter 88a Blackrock Road, Kilrea and formerly of 278 Boveedy Terrace, Boveedy, Kilrea. Dearly loved wife of the late Alfie and much loved mother of Marion and the late Robert, mother in law of the late John and Lorna. Devoted and much loved grandmother and great grandmother. House strictly private. The death has taken place of the late John (Nonny) Tierney, April 11 2026, suddenly at his home, 47 Melmore Gardens, beloved son of the late Patrick and Annie Rose, loving brother of Nucker, Pius, Roseleen, Margaret, Carol, Ann, Lisa and the late Martha, Via, Nan and Patrick (Boo), and brother-in-law to the late Daniel Cassidy and Michael Lavy, dear uncle of the late Stephen Chadwick, Noel Lavy and Gronia Cassidy and great-uncle of the late Caoimhin and Daryl Cassidy. Loved and will be sadly missed by his nephews, nieces and his wider family circle friends and neighbours. John will be reposing at his home. Funeral leaving his home on Wednesday, April 15 at 9:30am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Much loved husband of Elizabeth, loving father of Jeremy and Michael, father-in-law of Pamela and adored granda of Katherine and James.
