It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Tony Doherty, peacefully after a brief illness, at Altnagelvin Hospital, on February 8 2026. Late of 27 Danesfort Crescent. May he rest in peace. Beloved husband of Margaret. Much-loved father of Sharon, Stephen and Karl. Dear father-in-law of Sue, Gerard and Maria, dearly-loved granda of Ruairi, Oisín, Tomás, Conor, Aoibhín, Oran and Evan. Cherished brother of Noel, Anne (Liddy) and the late Harry, John, Kay, Martin and Billy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Tony's remains will be reposing at his late home, 27 Danesfort Crescent. Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday, February 11 at 9:20am for Requiem Mass in St. Columba's Church, Long Tower at 10.00am. The death has taken place of John Francis (Francie) Gamble, February 7 2026, husband of the late Catherine, loving partner of Kathleen McGlinchey, devoted father of Nigel, Trevor and Jocelyn, father-in-law of Margaret, Elizabeth and Stewart, much loved grandfather of Nadine, Aaron, Kerrie, Rachael, Jonathan, Kevin, Daniel, Tiernan and Tanisha, great-grandfather of Grace and Theo and dear brother of Amy. Francie will be reposing in his home, 38 Campion Court. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 10.30am for 11o'clock Requiem Mass in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Trench Road. Interment afterwards in St Patrick's Cemetery, Moorlough. Family time please from 10.00am to 12noon. Family flowers only please. The death has taken place of the late William Robert Henderson, February 7 2026, (peacefully) at Brooklands Nursing Home, Daneshill Road, Coleraine, dear father of Carolyn, stepfather of Barbara, granda of Rihanna, Leon and Lexi, eldest son of the late James and Sarah (formerly of Ballycastle Road, Coleraine) and brother of the late Ross. House and funeral strictly private. Family flowers only please. Terence Arthur (Terry) Jennings, Derry

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Terence Arthur (Terry) Jennings, February 8 2026, peacefully, after a short illness, at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, (late of Owen Mor Care Home and formerly of 81A Drumleck Drive), beloved husband of the late Maureen, loving father of Terry, devoted grandfather of Jack, Maisie and Charlie, great-grandfather of Oisin, devoted son of the late Jack and Rose, dear and loving brother of Veronica, Kathleen, Rosaleen and the late Bridget, Teresa, Johnny and Jimmy, dear father-in-law to Jo. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Terry will be reposing at Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral leaving Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 11 at 11:20am to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown for Requiem Mass at 12:00noon. William (Seamus) Morrison, Glenside Road, Derry

The death has occurred of the late William (Seamus) Morrison, February 8 2026, peacefully at Woodmont Care Home, after a long illness, (late of Glenside Road, formerly of Benevenagh Gardens), father of Mark, Mandy, Julie and Sean and grandfather, beloved son of the late Seamus and May, loving brother of Drew, Joan, Marian, Geraldine, Ann-Marie, Martin, Gloria and the late Tony and Teresa and a loving uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Seamus will be reposing in his sister Joan’s Home, 33 Broadway. House Private From 9:00pm to 12:00noon. Funeral leaving 33 Broadway on Wednesday, February 11 at 9:30am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. James (Jim) McClelland, 174 Lisnablagh Road, Coleraine

The death has taken place of James (Jim) McClelland, February 7 2026 (peacefully) at hospital, 174 Lisnablagh Road, Coleraine, dearly loved husband of Hessie, loving father of Gerry, Ann, Laura, Jimmy, Sharon, Marie, Norman, Dorothy and the late Andrew and a dear father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. Service in Murdock's Funeral Home, 2a Windsor Avenue, Coleraine on Wednesday at 1.30pm followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. House Strictly Private. Family flowers only please. Doreen, dearly loved wife of Samuel, and much loved mother of Sonya (Liam), Rhonda (John) and Graham (Caroline); adored granny of Taylor, Lauren, Morgan, Sara and Cameron; great granny of Freddie and Willow, and dear sister of Tommy. House strictly private. Service of Thanksgiving in First Dunboe Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, February 11 at 11.00am, followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only, please.
