Mary Catherine (Maura) Bell, 50 Littlebridge Road, Drummullan

The death has occurred of the late Mary Catherine (Maura) Bell (Drummullan), February 8 2026, beloved daughter of Bob and Lizzie Bell and loving mother of Siobhan Campbell (Bell) and dear sister of Seamus, Brigid and Late Mark. Proud Grandmother of Michelle and Emma. Funeral from her home 50 Littlebridge Road on Tuesday, February 10 at 10.40am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St. Joseph and St. Malachy Drummullan and via webcam Live Stream - Parish of Coagh & Drummullan, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her daughter, son in law Dermot Campbell, granddaughters, sister, brother, nephews, nieces, and extended family circle. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. The wake for Maura will commence at 11.00am on Monday, February 9 2026.

The death has taken place of Anne Cleary (née Diamond) (Castledawson), beloved wife of Patrick John and loving mother of Celine (Coyne), Deirdre (Convery), John, Philip and Sinead (Campbell), dear sister of Philomena, Geraldine, Ergnat, Patsy and the late Celine, May, Cath, Brigid, Hugh and Christina. Funeral from her home, 9 Davison Villas on Tuesday, February 10 at 10.30am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St Patrick Castledawson, interment afterwards in cemetery at Church of St. John Milltown. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her husband, sons, daughters, daughters in law, sons in law, grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and extended family circle and friends.

 

Gertrude (Gertie) Conway, 46 Tirkane Road, Maghera

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Gertrude (Gertie) Conway, February 8 2026, Peacefully at RVH Belfast surrounded by her loving family, 46 Tirkane Rd, BT46 5AG. Much loved sister of Kathleen and the late Vincent, Sean and Philomena, Daughter of the late Patrick and Annie. House strictly private, please. May he rest in peace. Beloved husband of Margaret. Much-loved father of Sharon, Stephen and Karl. Dear father-in-law of Sue, Gerard and Maria, dearly-loved granda of Ruairi, Oisín, Tomás, Conor, Aoibhín, Oran and Evan. The death has taken place of the late Patrick (Frankie) Gallagher, February 7 2026, Peacefully at home. Beloved Husband of the late Vonnie and Loving Father of Martin, John, Marie, Peter, Veronica, Denis and Melita. A much loved Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Dear brother of Rose, Eileen, Pat, John, David, Miriam, Charlie, Joe, Angela, Paul and the late Philip and Marie Therese. Wake will commence from 11.00am today, Monday, February 9 2026 at his home, 343 Carnhill. Funeral from there on Wednesday, February 11 at 9:20am to Saint Brigid's Church, Carnhill for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. The death has occurred of the late William Johnston, February 6 2026, suddenly at hospital, late of 619 Beechview Gardens, Kilrea, much loved husband of the late Eileen, loving father to David, Sandra and the late Robin, dear father-in-law to Vincent, devoted grandfather to William (Jamie), Rebekah, Rachele & Lexianne, great-grandfather to Theodore, dear brother of Sadie, Margaret and the late Sammy & Annie. Funeral service in his home on Tuesday at 2.00pm interment afterwards in Kilrea cemetery. Daniel (Didi) Semple, 57B Steelstown Village, Derry

It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel (Didi) Semple, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on February 8 2026. Late of 57B Steelstown Village and formerly of Tyrconnell Street. May he rest in peace. Much-loved father of Diarmaid, Feargal and Grainne. A Loving granda of twins Declan and Rose. A dear father-in-law of Chelsea and Laura. Cherished brother of Anne, Mary, Briege, Tina, Teresa and the late Sean. Former husband and friend of the late Margaret. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Didi's remains will be reposing at his late home, 57B Steelstown Village. Funeral leaving from there on Tuesday, February 10 at 10:30am for Requiem Mass at 11.00am in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown.
