Monica Doherty (née King), 6 Beechwood Park, Strathfoyle, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Monica Doherty (née King), January 24 2026, peacefully at home, beloved wife of the late Noel, 6 Beechwood Park, Strathfoyle, loving mother of Eileen, George, Catherine, Francis, Pauline, Dolores, Tony, Eamon and the late Adrian and Vincent and a much loved grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and aunt. Her remains will be reposing in her home on Monday from 12noon – 9.00pm. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 11.30am for 12o’clock. Requiem Mass in St Oliver Plunkett’s Church, Strathfoyle. Interment afterwards in Star of the Sea Cemetery, Faughanvale. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

Sarah (Sally) Forrest (née Leighton), 14 Enagh Park, Limavady

The death has occurred of the late Sarah (Sally) Forrest (née Leighton), January 25 2026,  peacefully at home, 14 Enagh Park, Limavady. Dearly loved wife of the late Tommy, loving and devoted mother of Elaine and Iris, dear sister of the late Tommy and Jim and sister-in-law of the late Kathleen and Marie. House private. Funeral service in her home on Tuesday at 1.00pm followed by interment in Enagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please. It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Sarah (Sally) McCallion (née Quigley), January 25 2026, peacefully, after a long illness, at her home, 6 Juniper Park, Foyle Springs, surrounded by her loving family, (formerly of Malin Gardens), beloved wife of Johnny, loving mother of Edward, Stephen, Emmet, Catherine and Mary, dear mother-in-law to Clare, Noreen, Michelle and Pat, devoted grandmother of Marie, Caoimhe, Matthew, Conor, Kevin, Molly, Aoibheann, Kate, Sarah, Róisín, Liam, Finn, Tegan and Sean and great-grandmother to Aya, Jamie and Leo, dear and loving daughter of the late Stephen and Kitty, cherished sister of Tommy and the late Stephen and Michael, and a caring aunt and sister-in-law. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Sally will be reposing at her home on Monday from 11:00am to 10:30pm. Funeral leaving her home on Tuesday, January 27 at 9:20am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Suddenly Steven R.I.P. beloved husband of Orlagh and much loved father of Clodagh-Rose and Emmett. Loving son of Padraig and Brigeen (John Martini) and loving brother of Catriona, Sean and Eamon.
