The death has occurred of the late Tyna Matilda Evans, January 16 2026, peacefully at Causeway Hospital, 38 Bushmills Road, Coleraine. Dearly loved wife of the late Harry, loving mother of Gary and Shaun, mother-in-law of Helen and the late Valerie; and dear sister of Ann and the late Willis, Sadie and Len. House and funeral strictly private by her own request. No flowers please. John Alexander (Lexie) Ferris, 15 Ardgarvan, Limavady

The death has taken place of the late John Alexander (Lexie) Ferris (Ex RUC & GC), Passed away peacefully on January 15 2026 at home (15 Ardgarvan), surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband of Anne. Much loved father of Geoffrey (Karen), the late Caroline, Lester (Gayle) and Jason (Rachael). Devoted Grandfather of Kezia, Phoebe (Christopher), Caleb, the late Eve, Matthew (Kirsty), Rebekah, Timothy (Rachel), Jessica, Sophia and Oscar. A loving Great Grandfather of Charlie, Felix, Seve, Thea and Zara. House strictly private at family’s request. We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Dympna McAteer (née Archibald), peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on January 14 2026, may she rest in peace. Late of 23 Temain Road, Drumsurn, Limavady, Co Derry. Loving wife of Noel and devoted mother of Ciara (James), Darragh (Sarah), Mark, Shane (Bronagh), Francesca (James) and Raphael (Emma). Dearly loved by her grandchildren Toireasa-Maire, Niamh, Leonie, Meghan, Jack, Ollie, Peadar, Katie - Jane, Michael, Emmet, Ruairi, Cayden, Aaron and Aurora. Daughter of the late Sarah Ann and George R.I.P and very deeply regretted by her sisters and brothers and the entire family circle. The death has occurred of the late Brian McErlean, December 26 2025, (Maidenhead, Berkshire and formerly Carnaman, Lavey), Beloved husband of Val. Loving father Bryan Jr, Michelle, Zoe, Lester, Aliysa, Kurt and Jack. Grandfather of Cora, Finlay, Ralph, Joel and Fredrick. Son of the late John Joe and Mary McErlean, Carnaman. Brother of Sean, Brendan, Terence and the late Vera McGuckin. Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Lavey on Saturday, January 24 2026 at 11.00am. Interment of Brian’s ashes afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Jean Nutt O'Donnell (née Hamilton), 3 Milltown Crescent, Derry

The death has occurred of Jean Nutt O'Donnell (née Hamilton),  January 16 2026, peacefully at home, beloved wife of the late Winston, loving mother of Susan, John, Martina, Karen, Annie, Brian, Jason and Felicia, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother and dear sister of Christine, James and the late David. Her remains will be reposing in her home, 3 Milltown Crescent, on Saturday from 12noon - 9.00pm.  Funeral from there on Sunday at 12.15pm for service in Glendermott Parish Church at 12.45pm.  Interment afterwards in Upper Cumber Cemetery, Claudy. Family flowers only please.  Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 8JE. The Lord is my shepherd.
