The death has taken place of Thomas (Tom) Booth, December 7 2025, (suddenly but peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, dearly beloved husband of Marcella, 3 Moyola Gardens, Castledawson, much loved and devoted father of Jacqueline, Darren, Gareth, Steven, Dean, Gavin and Aimee-Lee, also a dear father-in-law, loving granda of Scarlett, Tammy-Dakota, Halliee-Ray, Brody, Kyla, Blake, Remy, Tommy, Ollie, Jake, Josh and Arthur, cherished brother of Muriel, Norman, Eddie, Rodney, Sylvia, Wendy, Trevor and Leonard and dearest son-in-law of Alice and the late Raymond. Family and friends welcome at his home on Tuesday (December 9) from 12noon – 9:00pm. Funeral from his home on Wednesday (December 10) at 11.00am for service in Christ Church Parish Church at 11:30am followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, for Chest, Heart and Stroke payable to Garvin’s Funeral Service (Donations A/c), 15 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, BT45 6BP. Will always be loved and remembered by his family and the entire family circle. “The Lord is my Shepherd” Psalm 23 v 1

Sinéad is reposing at her brother Karl’s home, 54A Coolnasillagh Road, Ballerin. BT51 5EN. Everyone welcome to call from 11.00am on Tuesday. Peacefully at home Sinéad R.I.P. late of 7 Rodney Street, Portrush. Beloved daughter of the late Peter & Jean Mullan; loving sister of Paul, Fionnuala, Roisin, Imelda and Karl; sister-in-law of Nuala, Pat, Patrick, Gerard and Rita and a much adored aunt and great aunt. Funeral from Karl’s home on Wednesday at 1:50pm for 2:30pm Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Ballerin. (Mass will be broadcast live on the parish website http://www.errigalparish.com/media.html). The death has taken place of Alan Dawson, December 6 2025, (peacefully), at Antrim Area Hospital, after a short illness, 4 Termoneeny Park, Knockloughrim, dearly beloved husband of June, much loved brother of Aileen and the late Betty, loving son of the late Robert and Ruby and also a dear brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. Family and friends welcome at his home on Tuesday (December 9) and Wednesday (December 10) from 3:00pm – 9:00pm. Funeral from his home on Thursday (December 11) at 1:30pm for service in Termoneeny Parish Church at 1:45pm followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, for Termoneeny Parish Church Building Fund payable to Garvin’s Funeral Service (Donations A/c), 15 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, BT45 6BP. Lovingly remembered by his wife and the entire family circle.

The death has taken place of Neil Doherty, December 7 2025, beloved husband of the late Bronagh, 18 Deanfield, Limavady Road, loving father of Conor, Aoife and the late Fergus, father-in-law of Sara, devoted grandfather of Farah and dear brother of Kathleen and the late Judith, Jack and Edward. Neil's remains will be reposing in his home on Tuesday from 1.00pm - 9.00pm. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 1.30pm for 2o'clock Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Ardmore. Margaret “Peggie” Donaghy (née O’Hagan), 38 Garvagh Road, Dungiven

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Margaret “Peggie” Donaghy (née O’Hagan), peacefully at Ann’s Care Home on December 8 2025. May she rest in peace. Late of 38 Garvagh Road, Dungiven, Co Derry, BT47 4LU. Beloved wife of the late Frank RIP and loving mother of Francis (Donna), Paul (Margaret), Deirdre (Seamus), Seamus (Martina), Thomas (Siobhan), Raymond (Emma) and Margaret. A devoted grandmother and great grandmother. Daughter of the late Margaret and James R.I.P and dear sister of Thomas and the late John, Francie, James, Rena and Jean RIP. Wake at her late home commencing at 3.00pm on Tuesday, December 9. Family time 10.00pm to 11.00am. Funeral on Thursday, December 11 2025 leaving her late home at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Dungiven. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Brian Martin, 39 Demense Avenue, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Brian Martin, December 7 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, after a short illness, (formerly of Dawros Gardens), beloved husband of the late Helen, loving father of Nicola, dear father-in-law to Shaun, devoted grandfather of Freddie, dear son of the late Manus and Kathleen, cherished brother of Margaret, Connie, Johnny. Dinny, Marie, Eugene and the late Noel, Hugo, Manus, Janet and Breege, and a loving uncle to all his nephews and nieces. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Brian will be reposing at his home, 39 Demense Avenue. House Private From 10:00pm to 11:00am. Funeral leaving his home on Wednesday, December 10 at 11:30am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 12:00noon. Funeral arrangements for the late Eamon Melaugh, December 8 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, aged 92 years, beloved husband of Mary, late of Alexander House, loving father of Martin, Terence, Colm, Bernie, Kieran, Irene, Dermott, Deirdre, Aidan, Seamus and Ursla, a cherished father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather and dear brother of Irene and the late Harry, Marie and Goretti. Catherine Ann Patterson (née Ross), 1 Lapwing Way, Clooney

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Catherine Ann Patterson (née Ross), December 7 2025, Suddenly at her home (1 Lapwing Way, Clooney, surrounded by her loving family) much loved mum of Darren, Koyln and Hayley, a loving mother-in-law of Gillian and Lyndsey, adored nanna of Lewis, Lily, Holly, Alex, Polly, and Paityn, dearest sister of Lynette and Elaine. Service of Thanksgiving in her late home on Wednesday, December 10 at 1.00pm, followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery. Everyone is welcome to call at the family home on Tuesday from 3.00pm until 9.00pm. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her entire family circle. “Your presence is missed, but in our hearts you will live forever”

The death has taken place of Samuel John (Sam) Porter, December 6 2025, peacefully at Antrim Care Home, formerly of Coleraine and Limavady. Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret, loving father of Oswald, Sharon and Gillian, father-in-law of Joanne, Max and Dee, much loved grandfather of Olivia, Benjamin, Tamsin, Gilly, Zara and Sam and dear brother of Margaret. Service of Thanksgiving in Killowen Parish Church, Coleraine on Tuesday, December 16 2025 at 12noon followed by interment in Portstewart Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
