Emily Bond (née Long), 47 Carmoney Road, Eglinton

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Emily Bond (née Long), October 31 2025, peacefully at her home in her 95th year, beloved wife of the late Jim, loving mother of Elizabeth, William, Harry and Isobel, mother-in-law of Robert, Elaine and Kathy, devoted grandmother of Sarah, Rachel, John, Samuel, Diane, Claire and David and dear sister of Alfie, Frank, Elsie, Phylis and the late John, Patty, Lexie and Jim. Her remains will be reposing in her home, 47 Carmoney Road, Eglinton. Funeral service will take place in Faughanvale Presbyterian Church, Eglinton on Sunday at 2o'clock. Interment afterwards in the adjoining burying ground. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to the Foyle Hospice or Marie Curie. The Lord is my shepherd.

Dominic (Dom) Concannon, 41 Elaghmore Park, Derry

The death has taken place of Dominic (Dom) Concannon, Derry, October 31 2025, peacefully, after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family, at Altnagelvin Hospital, formerly of Stanley’s Walk and Cable Street, beloved husband of Angela, loving father of Dominic, Claire, Shaun and the late Christopher and Bryan, devoted grandfather of Eoghan, Ciáran, Diarmuid, Luke, Anna, Grace and Leo and a dear father-in-law, beloved son of the late Dominic and Annie, cherished brother of Rosaleen, Tony, Sadie and the late John, Margaret, Eileen, Anna and May and a loving uncle to his nephews and nieces. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Dominic will be reposing at his home, 41 Elaghmore Park on Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2 from 12:00noon to 9:00pm. Funeral leaving his home on Monday, November 3 at 10:30am to St. Joseph’s Church, Galliagh for Requiem Mass at 11:00am. Frances Jordan (née Rice), 3 Carrydarragh Road, Moneymore

The death has taken place of Frances Jordan (née Rice), October 30 2025, (peacefully) at her home, 3 Carrydarragh Road, Moneymore, (in her 97th year), dearly beloved wife of the late Tom, much loved and devoted mother of Hester and the late Iris and Brenda, dear mother-in-law of Dennis, loving granny of Barry (Catherine) and Denise (Robin), adored great-granny of Murdoch and Danny and dearest sister of the late Jacqueline, Hilda, Samuel and Jim. House strictly private. Family and friends welcome in Garvin’s Funeral Home, 15 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, BT45 6BP on Saturday evening (November 1) from 7:00pm – 8:30pm. Funeral service in St John’s Parish Church, Moneymore on Sunday (November 2) at 3:00pm followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, for St John’s Parish Church Building Fund and Marie Curie Nursing payable to Garvin’s Funeral Service (Donation’s A/c). Will be ever so sadly missed by her daughter Hester, son-in-law Dennis and the entire family circle. “Safe in the arms of Jesus”

Victor MacLeod, 27 Rathmore Road, Creggan, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Victor MacLeod, October 29 2025 peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved husband of the late Margaret, 27 Rathmore Road, Creggan, loving father of Rory, Tara and Ewan, cherished grandfather of Hayley and Logan and dear brother of Jennifer, Jack and the late Linda Joan. Everyone is welcome to pay their respects at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU on Saturday from 4.00pm – 6.00pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Creggan on Monday at 10o'clock. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Rose Reynolds (née Duffy), 8 Bentley Terrace, Derry

The death has taken place of Rose Reynolds (née Duffy), October 29 2025, peacefully at Waterside Hospital, (formerly of Alfred Street), beloved wife of the late Bill, (former U.S. Navy Veteran), loving mother of Kellie, Mary and Erin, a devoted grandmother and cherished sister of Myra and the late John and Walter. Loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Rose will be reposing at her home, 8 Bentley Terrace. Funeral leaving her home on Saturday, November 1 at 9:20am to St. Columb’s Church, Chapel Road for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for her.
