Doris Elizabeth Thompson (née Moore), 171 Victoria Road, Derry

Desmond (Dessie) White, 12 Cloyfin Road, Coleraine

 

 

Gerard (Busty) Green, 5 Carlton Court, Ballymagroarty, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Gerard (Busty) Green, September 17 2025, peacefully at home, beloved husband of Marietta, loving father of Owen, Darren, Serena, Natalie and Erin, devoted grandfather of Noah, son of the late Thomas and Kathleen, dear brother of Vonnie, Margaret, Philip and the late Jackie, Robert, Patrick, Helen, Billy, Ann, Kathleen, Baby John and Baby Elizabeth and a cherished uncle and friend. His remains will be reposing in his home, 5 Carlton Court, Ballymagroarty. Funeral from there on Friday at 10.50am for 11.30am Requiem Mass in St Eugene’s Cathedral. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. House private from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

 

Bridget Langan (née Cullinan), Gleneagles, Culmore Road, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Bridget Langan (née Cullinan), September 16 2025, peacefully at her home, Gleneagles, Culmore Road, Derry, beloved wife of Tony, loving mother of Jonathan and dear sister of Rosemary Campbell and Celine Carlin. House private please. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown, on Friday at 10o’clock. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. The Mass can be viewed live via the church webcam. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to Alzheimer’s Society, Suite 2, 1st Floor East Wing, Plumer House, Tailyour Road, Plymouth, PL6 5FS. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

 

Sarah McBride, 39 Meadow Park, Portstewart

The death has occurred of the late Sarah McBride, September 16 2025, (peacefully, in her 100th year), 39 Meadow Park, Portstewart, dearly beloved wife of the late Alexander, loving mother of Andrew, Joan and Mervyn and loving grandmother of Liam. Service in Agherton Parish Church on Tuesday, September 23 at 12.00noon followed by cremation at Antrim and Newtownabbey Crematorium at 2.00pm. House private. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired for Cancer Research NI c/o Ivan Murdock and Sons, 31 Bushmills Road, Coleraine. Deeply regretted by her loving family and entire family circle.

 

Doris Elizabeth Thompson (née Moore), 171 Victoria Road, Derry

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Doris Elizabeth Thompson (née Moore), September 16 2025, peacefully at Owen Mor Care Home. Beloved wife of the late Samuel. Late of 171 Victoria Road. A loving sister and Aunt. Funeral service in Magheramason Presbyterian Church at 1.00pm on Friday, September 19 followed by burial in Upper Cumber Cemetery. Family and friends welcome to Adair & Neely Funeral Home on Thursday, September 18 from 2.00pm - 5.00pm and 7.00pm - 9.00pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if wished, to Lewy Body Society (Dementia) c/o www.lewybody.org. Will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Safe in the arms of Jesus.

 

Desmond (Dessie) White, 12 Cloyfin Road, Coleraine

The death has taken place of the late Desmond (Dessie) White, September 15 2025, (peacefully) at hospital, surrounded by his family, 12 Cloyfin Road, Coleraine. Beloved son of the late Samuel and Mary, much loved brother of Raymond, Anne and the late Jim, dear brother-In-Law of Margaret, Trevor and Mary, much loved uncle of Paul, Simon and Gemma, Jonathan and Joanna and Christopher and an adored great-uncle. Service in St Andrew’s Church on Thursday at 2.00pm followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. House strictly private.bFamily flowers only please.
