Cathal Archibald, 3 Fir Avenue, Drumsurn

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Cathal Archibald suddenly at home on July 1 2025, may he rest in peace. Late of 3 Fir Avenue, Drumsurn, Co Derry. Beloved son of Damien and Sharon. Loving brother of Michael, Richaél and Aoife. Very deeply regretted by his sorrowing nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and the entire family circle. Reposing at his late home on Thursday (July 3) at 3.00pm. Funeral on Saturday, July 5 2025, leaving his late home at 9.10am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in Saint Patrick‘s Church Dungiven. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Maria Helen Burak, Derry

In loving memory of our dear Mum, Maria Helen Burak, who passed away peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on June 27, with Richard by her side. Loving mother of Oisin, Aisling, Gavin and Gareth and grandmother to four beautiful grandchildren. May her soul rest in peace. Maria will be reposing at Bradley and McLaughlin's Funeral Home from 2.00pm - 4.00pm on Thursday. July 3. Her cremation ceremony will take place at Lakelands Crematorium in Cavan at 12.00pm on Friday, July 4. 'Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there; I do not sleep, I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sun on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain'

We regret to inform you of the death of Mary Cassidy (née Kearney), died July 2 2025 (Newbridge formerly Ballydullaghan, Swatragh). N.B. Funeral arrangements will be updated when they become available. Mary’s wake has not yet commenced. Peacefully at hospital surrounded by her loving children, late of 128A Creagh Road, Newbridge. BT45 8EY. Beloved wife of the late Artie; loving mother of Theresa, Bronagh (O’Kane), Pearse, Declan, Roseena (Murphy) and Eiméar; dear mother-in-law of Chrissy and Eamonn and much adored granny of Nancy, Alice, Maryrose, Claragh and Alisha. Daughter of the late Willie and Annie and dear sister of Lena (McCracken), Nan (Graham), Brian, Liam, Matt, Blanche, Gerard, Donald, Leonard and the late James, John and Philomena (Larkin). Our Lady of Knock pray for her.

 

Helena Coyle (née Thomas), 7 Moore Walk, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Helena Coyle (née Thomas), July 1 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of Willie, loving mother of Ann-Marie, John, Denise, Bobby, Liam and Sharon and a devoted grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law and aunt, beloved daughter of the late Johnny and Anne Thomas, cherished sister of Ann and the late Margaret and Eddie. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Helena will be reposing at her home, 7 Moore Walk on Wednesday, July 2 for family only, wake commencing on Thursday, July 3 from 11:00am. Funeral leaving her home on Saturday, July 5 at 9:20am to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Ethna Glackin (née Duffy), 13 Aberfoyle Crescent, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Ethna Glackin (née Duffy), July 2 2025, peacefully at her home, 13 Aberfoyle Crescent, beloved wife of the late Michael, loving mother of Siobhan, Sharon and John, dear mother-in-law to Michelle and Brian and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. Ethna will be reposing at her home. Family time please from 9:00pm to 11:00am. Funeral leaving her home on Friday, July 4 at 9:20am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Late of 60 Mullaghamesh Park, Feeny, Co Derry. Beloved son of Susie and Andy and loving brother of Andrea, Mary Teresa (Frankie) and Sean Marty (Miriam). The death has taken place of the late Helen Elizabeth Lyttle (née Morrow), July 1 2025, peacefully, dearly loved daughter of Douglas and the late Sandra, devoted mother of Ben (Kady), Andrew (Lucy) and Catherine (Johnjo), loving partner of Mark, much loved granny of Rowan and cherished sister of Alvin and Hazel (Stephen). Family and friends are welcome to call at the family home, 81 Killeague Road, Coleraine. The death has taken place of Peter Frederick (Fred) Moore, July 1 2025, peacefully at Causeway Hospital, formerly of Tullyaghmurray Fold, Portstewart and Eglinton, beloved son of the late Peter and Sarah, loving brother of Rev. Canon Matt, brother-in-law of Audrey, much loved uncle of Pauline and Heather (Martin) and cherished great-uncle of Kathleen and Peter. Everyone is welcome to pay their respects at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU on Thursday from 12.30pm - 2.00pm and again from 7.00pm - 8.30pm. It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Anne Virginia Wallace (née Allen), July 2 2025 Peacefully at her home, 18 Duncastle Park, Newbuildings (surrounded by her loving family) dearly beloved wife of the late Alan, much loved mum of Spencer, Alana, Shelley, Glenn and Darryl, loving mother-in-law of Wendy, Gary, Gail and Hayley, adored granny of Hollie, Nathan, Jordan, Jamie, Chloe, Leeroy, Kingsley, Trent, Lillianna,.
