Adeline Brothers (née McKinney), 9 Clooney Terrace, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Adeline Brothers (née McKinney), June 12 2025, peacefully at Waterside Hospital, loving wife of the late John, loving mother of Michael, Elaine, Cathy, Jonathan, Janice and Sarahlouise, mother-in-law of Anne, Garvin, Paul and the late Daniel, Paul and Christopher, a much loved and adored nanny and big nanny and dear sister of the late Dolores and Anne. Her remains will be reposing in her home, 9 Clooney Terrace, on Friday from 11.00am to 9.00pm. Funeral from there on Saturday at 11.30am for 12o’clock Requiem Mass in St Columb’s Church, Chapel Road. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s cemetery, Ardmore. Family flowers only please. Liam Gallagher, 1 Kingsfort Park, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Mary Gilmore (née Fall), June 11 2025, peacefully at Bohill Care Home, formerly of Carnrallagh, Aghadowey, dearly beloved wife of the late George, much loved mother of Ann and Heather, dear mother-in-law of Jim, loving grandmother to Gilmore and his wife Chantelle, Kathy and her partner Craig and Hannah and her partner Lee and great grandmother of Poppy, Ella and Emily. The death has taken place of George McIlroy, (suddenly but peacefully) at home, 44 Station Road, Garvagh. Dearly beloved husband of Beth and much loved father of Diane and David, dear father in law of Vicky. Myra Simpson (née Carlin), 29 Clondermott Park, Derry

It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Myra Simpson (née Carlin), peacefully at her home on June 11 2025. Late of 29 Clondermott Park and formerly of 3 Olive Terrace. May she rest in peace. Beloved wife of the late Brian. Devoted mother of Jeff, Kelly, Lee, Julie, Tracey and Brian. Dearest mother-in-law of Joanne, Robbie, Gerard and Brian. Loving granny of Lee, Eoin, Tyler, Nicole, Kyle, Taylor, Corey, Farrah, Eimear, Darragh and Shane. A much loved sister of Jean, Kevin and Billy.
