The death has taken place of the late Wilbur Bownes, March 16 2025, (peacefully) at Glenkeen Nursing Home, dearly beloved husband of the late Margaret, formerly of Sersons Road, Magherafelt, much loved and devoted father of Julie, Louise and Rosalyn, dear father-in-law of Paul, Ian and Jonathan, loving granda of Mica, Miles, Ross, Luke, Lucy, Ruby and Jake and dearest brother of Albert, Norman and Henry. Patricia (Pat) Kyle (née Nolan), 61 The Branch, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Patricia (Pat) Kyle (née Nolan), March 16 2025, peacefully, after a long illness, at her home, 61 The Branch, surrounded by her loving family, (formerly of Central Drive), beloved wife of Joe, loving mother of Seán, Joseph, Leeann and Rachel, dear mother-in-law of Dan and Muna, devoted grandmother of Rebecca, Caleb and Dillon, darling daughter of the late Spike and Annie Nolan, cherished sister of Jeanie (Jane), Hugh and the late Michael and Andy. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Pat will be reposing at her home on Monday, March 17 from 12:00noon. Funeral leaving her home on Wednesday, March 19 at 9:20am to Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Peacefully at the Macmillan Unit, beloved partner of Donna; loving father of Brendan and Daniel, Louise and Kevin and a much adored grandfather. Son of Margaret and the late Johnny; cherished brother of Colette (Alan) and Catherine (Eugene) and a dear uncle, cousin and friend to many. Funeral from his late residence, 39 Gortin Road, Kilrea, BT51 5YG, on Wednesday at 11:15am for 12noon Requiem Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Aghadowey. The death has occurred of the late Marie O’Kane (née McKee), (Crosskeys, Upperlands), March 16 2025, beloved wife of the late Pat and loving mother of Brian, Tony, Eileen (Glass), Ann, Paddy, Sean, Roisin, Marie and the late infant Patrick, daughter of the late Bernard and Ellen McKee and sister of Annie (Henry), Brian, Ailish (Downey), Liz (Dougan), Celine (Downey) and the late Margaret (Quigg), Frank and Eamon. Funeral from her home, 4 Dunglady Road Upperlands, on Tuesday, March 18 at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St John Granaghan, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sons, daughters, sons in law. George William Brian Taggart, Swatragh

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of George William Brian Taggart, March 14 2025, at his home (Swatragh). Loving partner of Mary, father of Iain and brother of Janella, Derek and John. Service of thanksgiving will be held in First Broughshane Presbyterian Church at 2.00pm on Wednesday, March 19 2025. Deeply regretted by the family circle.

Robert Alexander (Robbie) Thompson, 53 Bigwood Road, Lisdillon

The death has taken place of the late Robert Alexander (Robbie) Thompson, March 16 2025, Suddenly at his home, 53 Bigwood Road, Lisdillon (surrounded by his loving family) much loved son of Maurice and Janine, loving dad of Mylie, precious brother of Jane, Sammy, Jill, Joanne and David, a dear brother-in-law and uncle. The death has occurred of the late Paul (Whitey) Wilson, March 14 2025, suddenly at his home, Meenaleck Walk, (formerly of Ardnamoyle Park), loving father of Róisín, devoted grandfather of Saoirse and Ruairí, dear father-in-law to Seán, beloved son of the late Paddy and Lily, cherished brother of Donna, Dermot and the late Eamon, and a loving uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Paul will be reposing at his sister Donna’s home, 29 Caranbane Walk.
