Annie Mary (Nan) Cowan (née Hamilton), Derry

The death has occurred of the late Annie Mary (Nan) Cowan (née Hamilton), November 23 2024, peacefully at Templemoyle Nursing Home, beloved wife of the late Bill, dear sister of Emil and loving Aunt of Moore and the late Laurie., also a dear friend of Robert Logue. Funeral service in Adair and Neely Funeral Home, 12 Foyle Road at 12noon on Wednesday, November 27 followed by burial in Muff Church of Ireland burial ground. Donations in lieu of flowers to Foyle Hospice 61 Culmore Road. The Lord is my Shepherd.

Sarah Janet Duncan (née Goligher), 2 Blackstone Park, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Sarah Janet Duncan (née Goligher), November 23 2024, late of 2 Blackstone Park, beloved wife of Andy , loving mother of Lesley- Ann and Laura, dear sister of Edward, Billy and Ann. Funeral service in Adair and Neely Funeral Home, Foyle Road at 1.00pm on Tuesday, November 26 followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery. Eamonn Friel, 7A Glenabbey Road, Derry

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Eamonn Friel, November 24 2024, peacefully at his home, 7A Glenabbey Road, surrounded by his loving family, (formerly of Hamilton Street), beloved husband of Cathy, loving father of Sinead and David, father-in-law to Gerald, devoted grandfather of Cara and Freya, cherished son of the late Robert and Jinnie, dear and loving brother of Dan and the late Robert and a dear uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Eamonn will be reposing at his home. Funeral leaving there on Tuesday, November 26 at 9:20am to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

Michael (Mick) Knights, 32 Northland Drive, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Michael (Mick) Knights, November 23 2024, suddenly, after a short illness, at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved husband of Rosaleen, loving father of Kerry and Kristel, dear father-in-law of Conal and Chris, devoted grandfather of Kelsey, Phoebe, Zack, Cindy and Finn, dear son of the late Jonny and Blanche, cherished brother of Sandra, Linda and the late Andrew and a loving uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Michael will be reposing at his home, 32 Northland Drive. Funeral leaving there on Tuesday, November 26 at 9:20am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
