We regret to inform you the death has taken place of Liam Brolly (peacefully) at The Northwest Cancer Centre on 6th July 2023. May he rest in peace. Late of 215 Foreglen Road, Co Derry. Beloved husband of Teresa and loving father of Patrick, James, Anne Marie , Roisin, Elaine, Louise and Kieran. Devoted grandfather of Liam, Cara, Kate, Sorcha, Caoimhín. Fiachra, Ella, Sarah and Fionn. Beloved son of the late Annie and Jim R.I.P. and dear brother of Bridie, Eileen, John, Anne and the late Marion R.I.P. Deeply regretted by the entire family circle. Reposing at his late home. Funeral from there on Sunday, 9th July leaving at 12.20pm for 1.00pm Requiem Mass in St Peter & St Paul’s Church Foreglen. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only please, donations if wished in lieu to The Northwest Cancer Centre c/o McLaughlin Funeral Directors. Esther Cassidy (née O’Neill), Ballymaguigan

The death has taken place of Esther Cassidy (née O’Neill), (Ballymaguigan) 7th July 2023, beloved wife of the late John Patrick and loving mother of J.J., Michael, Joe, Phil, Peter, Teeny O’Hagan, Betty O’Kane and Colette Cooney, dear sister of Josie Hamilton and the late Barney, Mick, Jim, Lil McErlain, Peg Rocks and Nellie Shaw. Funeral arrangements later. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her sons, daughters, daughters in law, sons in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and extended family circle.

Gordon Cameron Douglas, 12 Cadogen Park, Derry

The death has taken place of Gordon Cameron Douglas, 7th July 2023, (peacefully) at his home, 12 Cadogen Park, Derry. A Cremation will take place in Roselawn Crematorium. All enquiries to Adair and Neely Funeral Directors (028) 7131 1321. Will be missed by all who loved him.

Anna Hamilton (née Young), 68 Aughrim Road, Magherafelt

The death has taken place of Anna Hamilton (née Young), 7th July 2023 (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, Anna, dearly beloved wife of the late Ronnie, 68 Aughrim Road, Magherafelt, dear sister-in-law of Ian, much loved sister of Ernie, Robert, Joan and the late Norman and Janet and also a loving aunt and great-aunt. House strictly private. Marie Hamilton (née Devine), Derry

The death has taken place of Marie Hamilton (née Devine), 6th July 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of Colm, loving mother of Gavin and Sean, dear mother-in-law of Ciara and Dawn, devoted grandmother of Sean-Og, Siun, Matthew and Daire, cherished daughter of the late Kevin and Mary, loving sister of Liam and the late Kevin. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Funeral leaving her son Sean's home, 6 Woodland Close, on Monday, 10th July at 9.20am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10.00an. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Molly Reid, Limavady

The death has taken place of Molly Reid (peacefully) passed away at Cornfield Care Centre on 7th July 2023, much loved wife of the late Bill and loving Mother of Colleen, dear mother in law of Sammy and dear sister of Barbara and the late Jean, Samuel and Desmond. Friends and family welcome at her daughter Colleen Moore's home, 9 Lowry Park, Limavady. Funeral service in her daughter Colleen's home on Monday at 11am followed by burial in Enagh Cemetery. The death has occurred of Jack Smyth, 6th July 2023, (peacefully) at hospital, 121 Killeague Road, Blackhill, Coleraine.
Dearly loved son of the late David and Jessie Smyth, and life long member of Ballylaggan Reformed Presbyterian Church. Funeral Service in Wades Funeral Home, Coleraine, on Saturday at 1.30pm, followed by interment in Ballylaggan Reformed Presbyterian Churchyard. Lovingly remembered.

Ann Strawbridge, 30 Parkmore Drive, Strathfoyle

The death has occurred of Ann Strawbridge, 7th July 2023, 30 Parkmore Drive, Strathfoyle, loving mother of Michelle, Ryan, Kevin, Aidy, Caoimhe and Caolan, a devoted grandmother, cherished daughter of the late John and Mary Strawbridge and dear sister of Sean, Sharon, Brian, Kieran, Gary, Paul, Martin and Stephen. Her remains will be reposing in her son’s home, 32B Cornmill, Campsie. Funeral from there on Sunday at 10.55am for 11.15am funeral Mass in St Oliver Plunkett’s Church, Strathfoyle. Daughter of the late Pat and Kate and sister of the late Patsy. Sharon Tracey (née Doherty), 13 Meehans Terrace, Derry

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Sharon Tracey (née Doherty), (suddenly but peacefully) at home on 6th July 2023. May she rest in peace. Formerly of The Bronx, New York and late of 13 Meehans Terrace, Derry. Beloved wife of Cahal and loving mother of Siobhan and the late Keith and Brenda R.I.P. Loved dearly by her son in law Vincent Zanferardino , grandson Brandon and his wife Sarah and great grandson Darren. Dear sister of Patricia, Kieran, Barry and the late Barbara.
