Maurice Alexander Adair, 81 Seymour Gardens, Caw, Derry

The death has taken place of Maurice Alexander Adair, 23rd April 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital (surrounded by his loving family in his 95th year) much loved husband of Philomena, devoted father of Denise, adored grandfather of Darren and Eoghan, dearest brother of Marian (Texas, U.S.A). Service of Thanksgiving for his life in his late home, 81 Seymour Gardens, Caw on Tuesday, 25th April at 1.30pm followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to (cheques made payable to) MacMillian Cancer Support c/o Mrs Ruth Hay, Funeral Director, 24a Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry, BT47 3QQ. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his entire family circle. Gone to be with the Lord, which is far better.

Jackie (musician) Bonner, formerly of Carnhill and Thorndale, Derry

The death has taken place of Jackie (musician) Bonner, 23rd April 2023, (peacefully) at Owen Mor Care Home, (formerly of Carnhill and Thorndale), beloved husband of the late Myra, loving father of Elaine, Lexie, Liam, John, Greg, Liz, Kevin, Seamus and Martin, a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather, dear and loving brother of Joe, Seamus and the late Mamie, Sadie, Bill and Ed. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Funeral leaving his brother Seamus’ home, 39 Baronscourt, Culmore Road at 10.20am on Tuesday, 25th April to St. Brigid’s Church, Carnhill for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. House private from 10.00pm to 12noon. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.

Patrick (Patsy) Dempsey, Kilrea

The death has taken place of Patrick (Patsy) Dempsey, 22nd April 2023, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, beloved husband of the late Tessie and much-loved father of Liam, Joe, Martin, Fiona and Gerard. Dear brother of Anne (McKenna), Gerald and the late Kathleen (Quigg) Mary (Molloy) and Willie. Funeral from his daughter Fiona’s residence, 197 Edenbane Road Kilrea on Tuesday at 10.15am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church Drumagarner. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family time from 10.00pm to 10.00am. St. Martin pray for him. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Patricia, Jackie, Helena and Eileen, son-in-law Philip, brother, sister, grandchildren and entire family circle. Alice Graham (née Doyle), 7 Manor Downs, Magherafelt

The death has occurred of Alice Graham (née Doyle), 21st April 2023, beloved wife of the late Gerry and loving mother of Theresa (Quinn), Hugh Francis, Peter, Christine (Flanaghan), Ailish (Quinn), Anne (O’Loughlin), three darling children who died in infancy, sister of Jim, Jack, Bill, Peggy (McLarnon), Theresa (Hyney) and the late Molly (Moren), Pete and Nancy (Hamilton). Funeral from her home, 7 Manor Downs, on Monday, 24th April at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St. John, Milltown, interment afterward in adjoining cemetery. John Joseph Hurl (Newbridge), 169 Aughrim Road, Toomebridge

The death has taken place of John Joseph Hurl, 23rd April 2023, beloved husband of Denise and the late Madge, loving father of Ian, Mary (O’Neill), Bernie (Walker) and Mairead, dear brother of Isobel McCloy and the late Marie, Anna and Roisha. Funeral from his home 160 Aughrim Road Toomebridge BT41 3SH on Tuesday, 25th April at 10.30am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St. Trea Newbridge, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Ronald (Ronnie) Linton, 29 Carricknakielt Road, Maghera

The death has occurred of Ronald (Ronnie) Linton, 23rd April 2023, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, dearly loved Husband of Pearl, 29 Carricknakielt Road, Maghera, much loved Father of Thelma, Stephen, Amanda and Phillip and a devoted Granda of Travis. Kathleen Madden (neé Crowe), 48 Drumane Road, Kilrea

The death has taken place of Kathleen Madden (neé Crowe), 23rd April 2023, (peacefully) beloved wife of the late Teddy and loving mother of Gabrielle, James, Monique, Natalie and Kimberly; sister of Maree Taylor (Toronto) and deceased brother and sisters. Kathleen's wake will commence on Monday at 3.00pm. Funeral from her late residence, 48 Drumane Road, Kilrea on Tuesday evening at 6.30pm to St.Mary’s Church Drumagarner (arriving approximately 7.00pm.) Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11o’clock followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus pray for her.
