Josephine (Jo) Tracey, 78 Strabane Old Road, Derry

The death has taken place of Victoria Elizabeth Cherril Blair, 26th February 2023, (peacefully) passed with her family at Causeway Hospital. Beloved wife of John, loving mother of Mark and David, mother in law of Shirley and Julie, devoted grandma of Megan, Emma, Luke and Christopher and much loved sister of Irene and the late Ivor. House private. Funeral service to take place at Ballyrashane Presbyterian Church on Thursday, 2nd March at 2.00pm followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if wished, by making cheques payable to RVH Liver Support Group c/o Ms Charlene Wade, 3 Upper Abbey Street, Coleraine, BT52 1BF. Lovingly remembered by all her family and friends.

James Andrew (Andy) Hegarty, 252 Bishop Street, Derry

The death has taken place of James Andrew (Andy) Hegarty, 26th February 2023, at Altnagelvin Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Mary (formally of 252 Bishop Street), loving father of Barrie, Brenda, Jude, Mark, Rory and Charles. Much loved grandfather of Monica, Shauneen, Abigail, Nathan, Jake and Bella. Beloved son of the late Charles and Bella. Beloved brother of Ann, Mario and the Late John, Danny, Charlie, Tony, Margaret and Monica. Father in law of Marie, Bronagh and Emma. Funeral from his son Mark's home, 49 Cecilia's Walk on Wednesday at 9.20am to St Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time only please from 10.00pm until 10.00am. Funeral mass can be viewed on the following link : http://longtowerchurch.org/webcam. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all his family. Sacred Heart of Jesus have Mercy on his soul. Our lady of knock pray for him.

Reginald (Reggie) McCarron, 80 Primity Crescent, Newbuildings

The death has taken place of Reginald (Reggie) McCarron, 27th February 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital. Dearly beloved husband of Lena. A loving father of Claire and her partner Kenneth. A much-loved Brother of Shirley and Brother-in-law of William and Diane. A loving Granda of Ko Ko. A funeral service will take place in his late home 80 Primity Crescent, Newbuildings, on Wednesday, 1st March 2023 at 12noon, followed by burial in Altnagelvin Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if wished in lieu of flowers to; WH&SCT (Ward 40), Altnagelvin Hospital, Glenshane Road, Derry, BT47 6SB. Family time only please from 10.00pm to 12noon. Ronald Victor (Ronnie) McMullan, 109 Millburn Road Coleraine

Ronald Victor (Ronnie) McMullan, 26th February 2023,(peacefully) at the Causeway Hospital, 109 Millburn Road Coleraine. Much loved husband of Dorothy loving brother of Kenneth, Leonard and the late Molly, Martha, Cecil, Iris and Jackie and a dear brother-in-law and uncle. Service in Murdock’s Funeral Home 2A Windsor Avenue Coleraine on Thursday at 11.30am followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. House Private. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired for the N.I. Air Ambulance c/o Mrs Mona Murdock, 31 Bushmills Road, Coleraine. Deeply regretted and very sadly missed by his loving family, friends and entire family circle.

Gretta Moore, formerly of Hyacinth Avenue, Ballykelly

The death has occurred of Gretta Moore, passed away (peacefully) on 20th January 2023 in Stafford, England. Formerly of Hyacinth Avenue, Ballykelly. Much loved wife of the late Tommy. Loving mother of Roberta and Maudie. Dear Mother in law of Colin and Philip. Devoted Grandmother of Keith. Service of thanksgiving for the life of Gretta will be held in Ballykelly Presbyterian Church on Thursday, 2nd March at 2.00pm followed burial in adjoining Churchyard. All welcome to attend the service and refreshments in the Church hall after the burial.

Lee Derek John Parkhill, 69 Primity Crescent, Newbuildings

The death has taken place of Lee Derek John Parkhill, 26th February 2023, (suddenly) at his home, 69 Primity Crescent, Newbuildings (in his 35th year) much loved partner of Natalie, devoted dad of Harpur, precious son of Christina and Derek, cherished brother of Charlene, Lucinda and Christopher, darling grandson of Meta and the late John, Margaret and Jack. Funeral leaving his Mum and Dad’s home, 14 Dunnalong Manor, Bready on Thursday, 2nd March at 12.15pm, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for his life in Dunnalong Parish Church at 12.30pm, burial afterwards in Mountcastle Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Dunnalong Parish Church c/o Mrs Ruth Hay, Funeral Director, 24a Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry, BT47 3QQ. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his many friends and entire family circle. Your presence is missed, but in our hearts you will live forever.

David Simpson, 14 Desertlyn Road, Moneymore

The death has taken place of David Simpson, 27th February 2023, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital after a short illness, David, dearly beloved husband of Margaret, 14 Desertlyn Road, Moneymore, much loved father of Derek and the late Roy, dear father-in-law of Helen, devoted granda of Holly and dearest brother of Harvey and the late Joe, Harold and Reene. House strictly private. Family and friends welcome in Garvin’s Funeral Home, 15 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, BT45 6BP on Wednesday afternoon from 3.00pm – 6.00pm. Funeral service in Garvin’s Funeral Home on Thursday, 2nd March at 1.30pm, followed by burial in 1st Moneymore Presbyterian Churchyard. Family flowers only please. The death has taken place of Eileen Tierney, 27th February 2023, (peacefully) at Weavers nursing home Cookstown and late of 65 Irish Green Street, Limavady. Beloved daughter of the late Patrick and Sarah R.I.P. Dear sister of Sarah, and the late John, Thomas, Mary (Higgins) Patrick, Jim, Frances, Gerard, Brigid, Kathleen and Bernard. R.I.P. Deeply regretted by her sister, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and all the family circle. Funeral from her niece Monica Eakin home, 119 Ballyquinn Road, Limavady on Wednesday at 9.20am for Requiem Mass at 10.00am in St Mary’s Church Limavady followed by interment in adjoining cemetery. Josephine (Jo) Tracey, 78 Strabane Old Road, Derry

The death has occurred of Josephine (Jo) Tracey, 27th February 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved daughter of the late Frank and Ellen, loving sister of the late Frank, Margaret, Eileen, Leonard, Gladys, Benny, Avril, Eamon and Chris and a much loved aunt and great-aunt. Funeral from her home, 78 Strabane Old Road, on Wednesday at 10.30am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Trench Road. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. Family time please from 10.30pm to 11.00am. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
