Raymond Begley, 449 Hillmount, Garvagh

The death has taken place of Raymond Begley, November 23 2025, suddenly at his home, 449 Hillmount, Garvagh, beloved husband of Alice, dear brother of Pamela, Valerie, and Trevor; a much loved brother-in-law and uncle. Funeral arrangements later. Very deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife and entire family circle.

 

May Logue (née Feeney), Tartnakilly Road, Glack

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of May Logue (née Feeney), November 23 2025, Peacefully at Owen Mor Care Centre, Derry. Late of Tartnakilly Road, Glack. Beloved wife of the late Felix R.I.P. Loving Mother of Marie Begley and Angela Feeney. Grandmother of Sharon, Angela, Seamus, Conan and Carmen, great-grandmother of Oran, Conor, Dylan, Aoife and Conor. Dear daughter of the late John and Mary-Ann R.I.P. Sister of Brendan and the late Frank, Tommy, Charlie, Willie, Patsy, Jean, Bridget and Susan. R.I.P. Deeply regretted by all her family and friends. Wake will commence today (Monday, November 24) at her daughter Angela’s home: 112 Tartnakilly Road, Glack at 3.00pm. Everyone welcome Monday from 3.00pm to 9.00pm and Tuesday from 12noon to 9.00pm. Funeral from her daughter’s home: 112 Tartnakilly Road on Wednesday, November 26 at 9.20am for Requiem Mass in St Finlough’s Church Ballykelly at 10.00am followed by interment in adjoining cemetery. John K McAleese, The Four Bushes, Agivey Road, Kilrea

It is wtih deep regret we announce the passing of John K McAleese, November 22 2025, peacefully at Hospital. John K (formerly of The Four Bushes, Agivey Road, Kilrea). Dearly-loved husband of the late Enid and much-loved father of Renee, Ann, Cherie and Joy; dear father-in-law of Ian, Paul, Richard and the late Marcus; much-loved granda of Leanne, Danielle, Philip, Sharon, Christine and Steven; adored great-granda to Robert. Family and friends are welcome to call at his daughter, Renee’s home, 111 Cashel Road, Coleraine, to pay their respects. Service of Thanksgiving in Moneydig Presbyterian Church on Tuesday at 1.00pm, followed by interment in the adjoining churchyard. No flowers please. Vender Shorter, The Brook, Coleraine

The death has taken place of Vender Shorter, November 22 2025 (peacefully) at hospital, late of The Brook, Coleraine and formerly of Victoria Cottage, Portrush, dearly beloved wife of the late Gary, much loved mother of Gary, David and Kirk, dear mother-in-law of Angela, Beverly and Precious and devoted nana of Maia, Phoenix, Fiona and Ruby. Service in Holy Trinity Church, Portrush on Wednesday at 1.30pm followed by interment in Ballywillan Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired for Dementia NI c/o Ivan Murdock and Sons, 31 Bushmills Road, Coleraine. Deeply regretted by her loving family and entire family circle.
