Naiomi Doyle from Gaelscoil an tSeanchaí
A Magherafelt lollipop lady is in the running to be named the best in the business.
Naiomi Doyle, from Gaelscoil an tSeanchaí in Magherafelt, has been described as a ‘shining star in the community’ and now she’s officially in the running for Tonstix Lollipop Person of the Year!
According to Tonsitix, Naiomi is more than a lollipop lady, she's ‘a local legend’.
Known for going ‘above and beyond for the children’, she ‘brings colour, warmth, and joy to every crossing’.
Whether it’s rain, hail or snow, or dressing up for every special occasion, she never fails to brighten the day for everyone around her and often dresses up in different costumes.
One supporter shared: “She is a phenomenal lollipop lady — anyone who knows her will tell you how much she goes out of her way to help the children and to make them, and the public, smile.”
