Limavady United are set to host a ‘Fun Day’ on Saturday, July 20.
Staging two football matches on the day at Limavady Showgrounds in memory of Anthony (HOD) Roddy and Barney Mullan.
As the football season is reigniting with clubs across the UK and Europe, sides like Limavady United are in their preseason preparations.
And this day will help the club as they embark on their first season in the NIFL Championship for the first time since 2019, when they got relegated to the Intermediate League.
The day is for the whole family, as there will be bouncy castles, inflatables, face painting, BBQ, and an ice cream van.
Entry on the day is free, with kick-off for the Anthony (HOD) Roddy Perpetual Cup between the Derry Muckers and the Limavady Sirs at 11am, followed by the Barney Mullan Memorial Cup between Limavady United and Newtowne at 2pm.
This will be followed by live music at 4pm with guests Zone Out, Rory O’Hara & Friends, and Late DJ Wes.
