Fujitsu was among the winners at the North West Business Awards 2025, held recently at the White Horse Hotel, Derry.
The company took home the ‘Educational Collaborators Award’, recognising its focus on nurturing future talent through strong collaborations with schools across the region, including St. Cecilia’s College, Oakgrove College and St Brigid’s College.
The prestigious event, organised by City Centre Initiative in partnership with Londonderry Chamber of Commerce and headline sponsor Bank of Ireland, celebrated the achievements of local enterprises, entrepreneurs, and innovators.
Speaking on the award success, Liz Morrison, Shared Services Manager at Fujitsu said: “This award highlights the importance of building meaningful and trusted partnerships with schools and inspiring young people to explore the opportunities technology can offer.
"At Fujitsu, we believe that education and industry must work hand in hand to ensure young people, particularly young women, are equipped with the skills, confidence, and ambition to succeed in an increasingly digital world.
