Mulligan’s Tractor and Truck Run has marked its 10th anniversary in spectacular fashion, presenting an incredible cheque for £61,000 to Air Ambulance Northern Ireland, following another hugely successful year of fundraising.

This year was particularly special as the County Derry group celebrated a decade of bringing the local community together to raise vital funds for charity.

To mark this milestone, a special 10th Anniversary Gala Night was held at the Tullyglass House Hotel in Ballymena on October 3.

The evening was a fantastic celebration of the group’s achievements over the past decade, with many local businesses, sponsors and supporters coming together to show their continued generosity and support.

Over the past ten years, Mulligan’s Tractor and Run has raised an outstanding £246,700 for 12 different local charities, an achievement that everyone involved is immensely proud of.

The committee would like to express its sincere gratitude to every business, sponsor, volunteer, participant and member of the public who has supported the event throughout the years. Without the generosity and dedication of the local community, none of this would have been possible.

The 10th anniversary also marks the end of an era for committee member Abagail Scullion, who has made the decision to step down after ten years of dedication to the event.

Abagail has been part of Mulligan’s Tractor and Truck Run from the beginning, playing an important role in helping the event grow into the success it is today. Her hard work, commitment and passion for fundraising have made a lasting contribution to the group and the many charities it has supported.

“The committee would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Abagail for everything she has done over the past decade. Her dedication and countless hours of hard work have been greatly appreciated, and she will be greatly missed by everyone involved,” said a spokesperson.

“We wish Abagail every happiness and success in the future and thank her for being such an important part of the Mulligan’s Tractor and Truck Run journey.

“As the group looks ahead to the future, the committee hopes to continue building on the success of the past ten years, bringing the community together and raising much-needed funds for worthy causes. A huge thank you once again to everyone who has helped make these ten years so memorable.

“10 years. 12 charities. £246,700 raised. An achievement to be proud of.”
