WATCH: The day Doctor Who Tom Baker switched on Derry's Christmas Lights (1978)

As the twelfth Docter Who, Ncuti Gatwa, is set to take over the reins of the role in time for the festive season, do you recall the time the Doctor came to Derry back in 1978? Forty-five years ago Tom Baker, the fourth incarnation of Doctor Who, arrived in the city to switch on Derry's Christmas lights attracting huge crowds to Guildhall Square.
