Loughs Agency’s highly-anticipated Water Warriors event took place last week within the Foyle catchment areas, and the event proved to be resoundingly successful. Last week's unique events, which form part of the Agency’s Foyle & Carlingford Ambassador Programmes, attracted hundreds of post-primary pupils to partake in a fully immersive, educational experience, with an emphasis on learning about the importance of conserving and protecting our stunning natural environments and aquatic life. Approximately 600 pupuils attended the Foyle event from various schools from across Derry, Limavady, Tyrone and Donegal.
