IN PICTURES: 'Our Hidden History of Placenames' talk as part of Derry's Culture Night

The Irish and Scots origins of Derry's local placenames were explored on the evening

Mayor Ruairi McHugh with Irish language translator, tutor and researcher Brian Ó Doibhlin who gave a talk on "Our Hidden History of Place Names" as part of Culture Night, held in the Whittaker Suite, Guildhall. Included on the right are Pól O’Fhrigill and Erin Hamilton, Irish language officers, DCSDC.
