VOX POP: Gaelcholaiste Dhoire pupils on their favourite thing about the school

The students of Gaelcholaiste Dhoire tell The Derry News what their favourite thing is about the school and what is so special about speaking Irish, and what type of job they wanted in the future and in what way would Irish help?

Blaithín

Taitníonn na ranganna Eacnamaíocht Bhaile liom mar is maith liom bheith ag cócaireacht. Tá an spórt agus na cairde atá agam anseo go maith fosta.

I like Home Economics classes as I enjoy cooking. The sport and my new friends at school are also good.

Tá an Ghaeilge speisialta mar níl an seans ag gach duine í a fhoghlaim agus tá sé iontach maith í a bheith agat.

Irish is special as not everyone has the opportunity learn it and it is great to have it.

Ba mhaith liom bheith i mo mhúinteoir bunscoile agus bheith ag teagasc i nGaelscoil. Bheadh an Ghaeilge in úsáid agam gach lá.

I would like to be a primary school teacher and teach in an Irish-medium school. I would be using Irish every day.
