PICTURES: Two major wins for Derry artists at the Northern Ireland Music Prize awards

Derry celebrated two great wins at the awards ceremony on Wednesday night where there were also some showstopping performances from Derry's very own Tramp, Reevah and Cara Dillon.

It was a big night for Derry artists on Wednesday, 13 November as the Northern Ireland Music Prize rocked the Ulster Hall.

In what was an outstanding evening of music, Derry performers Tramp, Reevah and Cara Dillion took to the stage last night as part of the celebration of Northern Ireland's booming music industry.

There were also some big wins for the county at the event, as JC Steward won the prestigious 'Single of the Year.' 

The late Gerry Anderson was also given the 'Outstanding Contribution to Music Award' which was presented to his son David Anderson.
