Ronan Curtis was the hero this afternoon as Derry City secured an FAI Cup Semi Final replay with Dundalk at The Brandywell on Tuesday night.

Derry mounted an impressive comeback coming from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at Oriel Park.

Dundalk took the lead through Dean Shiels, son of Derry manager Kenny, in the 21st minute.

Ciarán Kilduff added a second for The Lilywhites in extra time of the first half.

Derry’s comeback started when Rory Patterson (pictured) pulled one back in the 65th minute.

Curtis silenced the Dundalk support with an 86th minute equaliser keeping Derry’s hopes of FAI Cup victory alive.
