Darren Crossan scored the fifth goal in a thriller at the Showgrounds but it wasn't enough for Rosemount whose fightback was staved off.
Despite going three goals up through two goals from James Gallagher and one from PJ Ward, Creggan let their local rivals back into the tie with Sammy Robinson netting before Darren Crossan buried this penalty.
But it was too little too late as Creggan hung on.
