Derry City have unveiled two new signings this afternoon.
With the transfer window set to close on Monday, Kenny Shiels has moved to strengthen his team, with the additions of midfielders Mikey Place and Jozef Dolný.
19-year-old Place, who plays on the wing, arrives from Sligo, and is seen as a replacement for Mark Timlin, who left Derry to join Finn Harps in midweek.
Dolný, 25, who can also play on the wing or in a central attacking role, had a trial with Glentoran during the week, but is now officially a Candy Stripe. Dolný most recently spent two years with FK Senica in the Slovak Super League.
Shiels is hoping that extra competition for places can help boost his team's performances in the final third of the season.
