Rainey Old Boys Under-18s recorded an emphatic 50-6 win over Ballymoney Under-18s in their Ulster Carpets Regional League clash at the weekend.
Meeting for the first time in six years, the Magherafelt side wasted no time in getting points on the board thought a Ryan Kearns penalty.
Good handling by Jack McIntosh, Michael O'Neill and Giuseppe Lupari gave Sebastian Layden a 50m sprint down the touchline for the first try of the game in the 10th minute.
Kearns put over the conversion.
After Ballymoney put points on the board with a penalty, Rainey extended their lead when Charlie Clarke to crash over.
They went further ahead soon after through a Johnny Hanna try, converted by Kearns.
Kearns added another penalty to leave the half-time score 22-6 in favour of the Co Derry side.
Second half tries from Padraig Totten (2), Layden and McIntosh (2) completed the rout.
jNext up for Rainey is a trip across the border to take on Letterkenny on 22 October.
