Mark Stewart will be a Derry City player within the next 48 hours after agreeing tems on a one-year deal with the Brandywell club.

Roddy Collins made the revelation last night and insisted that the 25-year-old, who has played for Falkirk, Bradford City and Dundee will be a popular player on the Lone Moor Road.

Speaking with DerryNow.com, the City boss expressed his delight at the newest addition to the Candy Stripes.

"Mark is very dynamic; very quick, very direct," Collins said.  "He's not the biggest fella in the world but he can play on the right, on the left, and through the middle."
