Danske Bank Premier League
Institute v Coleraine
Wednesday, Riverside Stadium, 7.45pm

Paul Kee believes Coleraine may regret not signing Stephen O’Flynn as the two sides prepare to meet at the Riverside on Wednesday night.

Institute go into their first home game of the season against their North West neighbours on a high after a 93rd minute goal from O’Flynn sealed a point at Dungannon Swifts on Saturday.

O’Flynn scored both ‘Stute goals in a 2-2 draw and Kee was full of praise for the striker, who was strongly linked with a move to Coleraine in the summer.

“He’s ambitious, he’s 32, and he wants to finish his career on a high,” he explained.

“Coleraine might look at it and see he scored two goals and wish they had signed him now. He had options but I’m glad he signed for us now and I hope he carries on in that vein. His first goal was a strike out of nothing but he has that in his locker. He’s claiming the second goal but he was in the right place at the right time and that’s what we needed at that point in the game.”
