Local drivers Callum Devine and Eugene Donnelly will compete in the West Cork Rally on St Patrick's weekend.
Devine is the current Billy Coleman Young Driver of the year and made his debut on the Junior WRC scene at the Rally of Sweden in February, where he finished in sixth place.
Ironically Billy Coleman won the inaugural West Cork Rally in 1977, the first of his two titles.
Devine will race in a Fiesta RT2 and the seat time in Cork will be important as he prepares for the Tour of Corsica in April.
The vastly experienced Eugene Donnelly, a five time Irish tarmac champion, is making is comeback to the world of motorsport after a serious injury at the Sligo Rally in 2016
The 'Genie' will have Mark Kane as his co-driver in their Hyundai i20.
The rally will have eight stages on Saturday, followed by another six on Sunday.
Donegal driver Donagh Kelly has won has won the title for the last four years and is back for a shot at a fifth title.
