Brian McIver isn't one to dwell.

The Derry manager is already looking to move on from yesterday's defeat in Celtic Park.  He's looking to learn from it, sure.  But he wants to move on.

Despite controlling large periods of Sunday's Ulster championship quarters, the Oak Leafers were killed off by a blistering 10-minute spell from Donegal after the break.  But McIver wants his young side to learn and get ready for a potential assault on the back door.

"We played really, really well in the first half but we had a horrible 10 minutes after half time when Donegal played well and won every breaking ball," the manager said.  "The one thing you don't want to be doing is giving Donegal a six-point lead.  We'll have to sit down and see why we were so slow coming out of the blocks.

"That's the nature of the Ulster championship.  We just have to take the scenic route now, there's nothing we can do about that.  Maybe, coming in under the radar, we can get a run going and take it from there."
