Kilrea Golf Club's Ladies team recently retained their Revive Active Team Ulster title and will now compete in the All-Ireland series in October.

Their win came after a pulsating final victory last weekend against Rockmount GC at Belvoir Park GC.

With two matches each secured, it took a steady par putt on the 19th from Kilrea to win the title.

Kilrea met some big local clubs en route to the final - Moyola Park, Cushendall, Ballycastle, Portstewart and lastly Shandon Park in the semi-final.

It is off to Athenry GC in Galway now at the start of October for the All Ireland Finals. Best wishes to Team Captain Noreen Graham and all the team members.

Also in recent weeks the Ladies branch had their annual trip out to Greencastle GC, Charity Open Day on Thursday 6 September 2019.  This is always a fun day and the ladies celebrate it
in style.

In the internal Kilrea GC competition, Susanna McAteer secured third place and Sandra Henry second place. However it was Sharon Bradley who was crowned as winner of the
prestigious 'Green Wig'.

Sharon was third in the actual open competition and Sandra won the best visitor prize.
