The Derry hurling team vying for a place in the last four of the Christy Ring Cup has been named.

The Oak Leafers will take on Kildare at Owenbeg on Saturday and, despite the injury of Alan Grant, the Derry men look strong ahead of the visit of the Lilywhites.

Captain Ruairi Convery leads the line at full forward with Paddy McCloskey in behind at number 11 whilst the management team have opted for both Hinpheys on the 45' at half back for the side.

Derry lost out heavily in the opener away to Kerry but have since bounced back emphatically by ousting Down and clearing a path for themselves to a potential final.
