Derry hurling captain Chrissy McKaigue and Brendan Rogers have not been included in Derry's squad for Saturday's Christy Ring Cup clash with Armagh (1.00).

Both players are part of Damian McErlain's Derry senior football panel, who will face Donegal in the Ulster SFC eight days later.

Rogers' place in attack has been taken by Brian Cassidy, who came on as a sub against London.  Eamonn McGill and Niall Farren come into the defence, with Colm Murphy and Jack Phelan missing out.

Murphy is serving a three month suspension from a club football game with Lavey.

Manager Collie McGurk highlighted the loss of Gerald Bradley last week and the Slaughtneil man takes McKaigue's spot in the side.

Alan Grant is back on the squad and is listed on the bench.
