A commanding performance from Derry minor hurlers takes them back in the final of the Celtic Challenge, after Saturday's semi-final win over Westmeath in Ashbourne.
Darragh McGilligan scored six first-half points, with Niall McGonigle hammering home a penalty, putting the champions into a 1-13 to 0-3 interval lead.
Eamon Cunneen, who 0-11 in their quarter-final win over Down, scored a Westmeath penalty early in the second-half.
But it only moved Derry up a gear and with Shea Cassidy in accurate form, Derry ran out convincing winners.
