Derry Ladies are guaranteed a place in the All-Ireland JFC semi-finals later this month, it has been confirmed.

Paul Crozier's side are in qualifying Group 2 with Carlow and Limerick.  They lost to Carlow by a point, before winning at home to Limerick - also by a point.

The final qualifying game sees Limerick hosting Carlow on Saturday (August 11) at 2.00 in Askeaton.

A Carlow win would see Derry through as runners-up.  If Limerick win by more than one point, Derry would go though, also as runners-up, on score difference.

It would get more complicated if Limerick beat Carlow by a point leaving all three teams on the same points and score difference.

At a meeting of the central fixtures committee, play-offs were drawn - should they be required.

In this case, Carlow would play Limerick again, with the winners playing Derry to decide who would advance to the All-Ireland semi-finals as group winners and runners-up.

In Group 1, London and Louth are level at the top after two games and meet in Ruislip on Sunday (12.00) to decide who wins the group.

The semi-finals are fixed for Sunday, August 26.
