BALLERIN camogs will this weekend take on Armagh champions Mullaghbawn in the Ulster Junior championship, after their win over local rivals Glenullin in the Derry final.

Ballerin 1-8 Glenullin 1-7

Played in Eoghan Rua Park, Ballerin opting to play with the wind in the first half failed to get enough scores on the board but still went in four points up at half time.

Glenullin looked the sharper of the teams in the restart with a quick goal from Eimear Corrigan, which Ballerin instantly cancelled out with a goal at the other end from Seonaidh Mullan.

Ballerin held firm in defence with scores from Katrina O’Kane, Sinead Faulkner and youngster Grace Mullan. Referee Caroline Wilson signalled for four minutes injury time and Ballerin tightening the ranks running out eventual winners.

Ballerin’s Sinead Faulkner received Player of the Match.
