Derry's Shane Duffy played his part as Brighton beat Sheffield Wednesday tonight to go two points clear of Newcastke at the summit of the English Championship.
Anthony Knockaert scored twice and three players were sent off as 10-man Brighton secured a memorable win.
Knockaert's opener was cancelled out by Lewis Dunk's own goal before half-time.
Duffy, whose father Brian hails from Letterkenny, is emerging as a key player for the Republic of Ireland.
