Derry City's first pre-season game is scheduled to take place this evening against Ulster Senior League side Letterkenny Rovers at Maginn Park in Buncrana, with a 7.30 pm kick-off.
Admission is "by donation" at the gate.
City fans will have two big reasons to make the short trip to the Inishowen Football League venue.
It will give them a chance to see what work has already been carried out at Maginn Park - where they will play their home games this season while the re-development of Brandywell Stadium is taking place.
And they will also have the chance to see some of the new faces that manager Kenny Shiels is trying out.
Derry are expected to use the game to have a look at a number of trialists, namely centre-half Bryan Van Den Bogaert (Belgium), and defender Giles Phillips, midfielders Thomas Amegnaglo (Togo) and Antonis Rikka (Greece) as well as several youngsters.
Letterkenny Rovers are currently second in the Ulster Senior League, and last season reached the FAI Intermediate Cup Final which was played at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Managed by the hugely experienced Eamon McConigley, Rovers will provide some decent opposition for the Candy Stripes.
