Dr McKenna Cup Section B
Derry 1-17
St. Mary's 0-14

Derry booked their place in the last four of the McKenna Cup with a third successive win in section B.

Fielding another experimental side which boasted 10 further changes to the starting line-up, Brian McIver took full liberty in exploring the entirety of his squad as the Oak Leafers came from behind in Owenbeg to put college side, St. Mary's, to bed.

With Aaron Kerrigan picking up from where he left off at the weekend against Fermanagh, the Claudy hotshot added five further scores to his personal tally and, alongside Loup's Anthony O'Neill in the full forward line, the two new faces showed well as the latter bagged a second half goal which always kept a cushion between the two teams.

Derry now prepare for a semi final with a rampant Tyrone side that racked up 5-15 last night against Armagh.
The game is fixed for 2pm on Sunday at Healy Park in Omagh.
